We had the trunk or treat at church on Saturday and the kids were so excited to finally get to wear their costumes. We decorated our trunk with spiderwebs and brought lots of candy.
Ethan was Darth Vader...
Megan was a purple witch...
And Christian was the cutest little police man...
Posing by our trunk...
And I had to get a picture of Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker (Nelson)

CUTE BASKETS
I am having a Stampin' Up! workshop on Tuesday, Oct 28, at Prudy's house. We are going to make these super cute, easy baskets with the Big Shot die cut machine. Here is a Christmas and a Halloween one. So fun for visiting teaching and teacher gifts or class favors! We are going to fill them with the crinkle paper filler and some hershey nuggets wrapped as little presents. SO FUN!
Still 2 cm
I went to the dr today and I am still 2 cm, but he did schedule me to be induced on Halloween. YAY! I have to be at the hospital at 5:30 am next Friday!!! Can't wait to meet this little girl!

Grandfriend's Day
Recently it was Grandfriend's Day At the kids' school and the teachers sent home a permission form we had to fill out to allow any grandfriends to visit our kids. I sat my kids' forms aside because I knew none of the grandparents were going to make it, especially since everyone would be coming a couple weeks later when the baby is born. The night before the permission slips were due, Megan asked me if I filled it out for her. I told her no grandparents were coming. She said "WHAT!?!" in an astonished voice and I explained to her that it would be hard to make two trips so close together. She was sad so I told her to call her Nanny and Papa, it was a little late, but I thought they would be up. Nanny answered and Megan asked her to come for Grandparents Day. She told Megan she would talk to Papa and call us the next day and let us know. Well, it was but a couple minutes and Nanny called back and said they would be here to go to school with her and Ethan. I was a little surprised, but not really, my mom was right... Papa can't say no to Megan. :) So Nanny and Papa and Aunt Rena and TJ came to see us and we had a great visit. I can't wait to see them all again when Heidi is born!

Megan's Gymnastics Meet
Megan went to her last competition last Saturday. It was in Houston and my dr said I couldn't travel that far, so I had to send her with a super nice family. I was so sad to miss it, especially since it was her best meet ever! I am SO proud of her, she has come a long way. For this meet her scores were...
Beam: 9.000
Bars: 9.000
Vault: 9.350
Floor: 9.500
She got all 9's for the first time ever! It is pretty neat. There were 87 girls competing together that day and she placed 13th! For the team scores, they take the top 6 scores from the girls on the team and add them together. Megan was 5th on our team and if I am right, her score was counted for the team total and our team got FIRST PLACE!!! I am a little confused about all the scoring details, but that is how it was explained to me. So, she did really well anyway, no matter what. Her floor score was 4th place! And the competition season is over for us until March when we host our meet here. I can't wait for that, it is SO fun! I am not bragging, I couldn't help show off her great accomplishments! I am STILL trying to get the videos off my dvd and onto the computer. I was told today I might not be able to do it. I am working on some software I downloaded to try to get it done, we will see. I hope I can get it on here sometime.

So excited!
I just made the decision to buy something really cool! I am doing a stamp party soon and I wanted to show something awesome. I talked with Jared and he allowed me to get this, he is so sweet. I am buying the sizzix Big Shot Die Cut Machine. WOO HOO! It makes the cutest things. I can't wait to try it out and show it at my party. It is a little expensive, but it is SO cool. Here is a pic...
I got a few die cuts to go in it. I think I will get some great use out of this!

Our First REAL Project
Megan was given an extra credit assignment to make a model of the solar system. We sat around the first day talking about how cool we could make it and we all got excited about it. Then reality set in and I realized we bit off a bit more than we could chew. Good thing Jared was around to help or we would have ended up with crap! Megan did a lot of the work herself, I think I underestimate kids sometimes. She did a great job. It is kind of fun to look at. I enjoyed learning about the planets and such. We had a good time as a family making it. The boys made their own projects (mess) while we did this LOL! I am not ready for another project until January... maybe. Please, Meg's teacher, don't assign anything else for a while!
