Elf day 4-6

It's so fun to see what our elf is going to do. Especially if he actually moves. He likes to stay in one spot more than one day lol

He stayed here two nights in a row. On the second night he drew on another picture (real quick while the kids were getting ready for school)

Tonight he went into the refrigerator. Turned the milk green!!! (kinda hard to see in the picture)

I'm hoping the kids don't notice this....

Here are a few cute pics of the kids lately.

Ok, so maybe just Heidi for now!

Elf on the shelf day 2 and 3

Hermie decided to sit amongst the pumpkins two days in a row. Oops! I think he wants me to bring out the Christmas decorations.

Then Hermie found my willow tree figures and decided to make it a group hug! So cute!

The kids are loving finding him in the mornings!

Elf on the Shelf

Well, last year was the first year I ever heard of elf on the shelf. I was really excited to go get him and start that tradition with my kids. So we got our elf, named him Hermie, and the kids woke to him sitting on our mantle.

Guess what. After all my excitement, I FORGOT TO
MOVE HIM THE FIRST DANG NIGHT!!!!! How lame am I??? I won't forget that again. Ooops!

I am going to document all Hermie's adventures until he goes home to the north pole on Christmas day. I'm hoping this will help me remember LOL!

Gaylord Texan!

Megan and I are off on a mother-daughter weekend. We went to the Gaylord Texan with another mom and daughter. We are loving it! More pictures later, but here is one of the girls in front of a pretty train in the atrium.

Looking at the cool water!

Disney World!

I don't know how I can even post something worthy of our wonderful trip to Disney World. Megan and I went for a competition in January. It was incredible to say the least. Here are a few of my favorite pics...

First sights of the castle in Magic Kingdom. Brought tears to my eyes!

Megan and I

TEACUPS!!!!

Castle at night. The fireworks were the best I have ever seen!!!!

Trying on the different ears you can get. The assortment was amazing! It was so hard to choose. Especially since they are $20 a piece!

Megan and Layla with Tigger

Megan wit Walt and Mickey. Love that man!

Megan and Morgan. They became quite the buddies!

Epcot!

Love the candidness of this pic with Daisy!

Uhh, Bruce, you might want to spit them out, they are SPOILED!

Pooh tied Megan's sleeves together LOL!

Tree of Life

The best roller coaster! (besides the aerosmith one and tower of terrors!)

Beautiful Megan

Loved the 3-D Bug's Life glasses!

Megan and Tina outside the gymnastics competition!

I can't wait to go back! It was the best time of my life!!! We are going on a Disney cruise next year, and I can't wait for that. I wish I could put all my pics on here, but that would take a million years. I can't wait to take the whole family in a couple years. January is definitely the time to go. There was hardly anyone there and the weather was great. Perfect trip!

Dinosaur World!

Our neighbor gave us some tickets to go to Dinosaur World in Glen Rose. It was a fun day for us. The kids really liked it.

We had fun with the photo op T-Rex Head. Heidi hated it. Christian was too scared to get in it :)

Heidi LOVED swinging!

Ethan riding the dinosaur LOL!

Christian too!

Looking for fossils.

It was fun walking through the trail and seeing all the dinosaurs.

Pretending to run away LOL!!!!
